Regarding title (for S1, S2, S3) or mention (for diploma) which is used by universities in Indonesia currently has no standard (not standard) again, although the government has made the rules, but most colleges only obey some of the rules the. Study of Program D-3 Mechanical Engineering organizes educational process for generating power Associate Expert who has the ability in designing, machining process, the process of fabrication, maintenance, control, management of production processes and the management of engine maintenance.
Mechanical Engineering Study Program consists of concentration Engineering Machining ( Production ) and Technical Maintenance and Repair ( Machinery Maintenance ) and will be developed Concentration of Mechanical Design Engineering ( Construction Design ) and Fabrication Techniques ( Fabrication ). Development of science and technology in Mechanical Engineering Study Program is directed to the development of Powder Metallurgy, Process Integrated Machining and Machine Condition Monitoring Technology.
